Every year, our dedicated team at the Sooke River Jack Brooks Hatchery engages in the vital task of raising Chinook and Coho salmon, contributing to the conservation and enhancement of local salmon populations. With a commitment to sustainability and the preservation of these iconic species, we release approximately 370,000 Chinook Salmon and 140,000 Coho Salmon annually into the Sooke tributaries
